The mother of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr an ophthalmologist, and Thelma Burnell Henson, Michele Carey whose birth name is Michele Lee Henson was born on February 26, 1942 at Annapolis, Maryland in the United States of America. As a teenager she had a great talent in piano playing and was the winner of a national competition at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only thirteen years old. The family settled at Fort Collins, Colorado with her family, and completed her high school education in Fort Collins High School where she completed her studies in 1960. Later, she was employed by Powers agencies prior to stepping into to acting in 1964 for the television show The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Her rise to recognition by her role as Josephine Joey MacDonald's major character in El Dorado from 1966. The film was notable for her acting roles in the 1960s and 1970s.
